- Don't smoke. It damages your lungs and heart...and other peoples too!
- Cut down on calories, limit your fat, sugar and salt intake, and eat more complex carbohydrates.

- Monitor your health: self examine once a month and see a doctor if your are concerned about worrying symptoms.
- Same with your dentist: brush your teeth and tongue regularly and visit your dentist at least twice a year.
- Don't skimp on sleep! Experts agree that men need between 7 and 10 hours sleep, depending upon their genetic disposition. Anything less just isn't enough!

Did you know that sideburns were originally named burnsides, after General Ambrose E. Burnside who was a Union general in the American civil war. Apparently he had a truly impressive pair! After a while though, General Burnside was forgotten and people decided that the syntax of burnsides was all wrong and started to call them 'sideburns'.
